Ordering a panel and ordering a kit are two diferent things. The text should tell you what is included in the kit. It might include enough fabric for the backing, perhaps border and/or binding fabric as well. Kits generally do not include thread or batting.
If you want words on your quilt, and do not want to embroider it by hand, you might want to find someone with an embroidery machine who can do the work on a piece of fabric that you incorporate into the piecing of your quilt top, or carefully hand stitch to the back of our quilt as a label. Or, there is fabric lightly bonded to paper that you can run through your computer printer – printing your own fabric, albeit in 8.5×11 size.

This is a bit scrappy quilt from the fabric. With leftover fabric is created, it has become an art form, extensive use of embroidery and beads. The layout should appear completely random.

Bare feet, sandals made bottoms of old tires, long hair, dingo boots, long beaded necklaces, hooped earrings. Feathers in the hair and in jewelry. Heavy eyeliner, pale pink lips. Afro’s, braids, moccasins, fringe and animal prints. Skirts made from and old pair of jeans. John Lennon sunglasses, or big round ones with different colored lenses.Gunny Sak clothing (I don’t remember the correct spelling). Patches on clothing. Button that have peace signs, doves, and say “love not war”. Also fringed or frayed bottom jeans.
Music: The Beetles, Jim Morrison, CCR, Ike and Tina Turner, The Birds, Rare Earth, Janis Joplin. Look up Woodfest. Also,

Not positive, but it looks like a Navy Seals Gold Team Patch.
